Salons have long been spaces where ideas are exchanged, relationships are formed, and conversations unfold.
Historically, many salons were hosted by women in their living and dining rooms, at a time when women were often excluded from formal institutions and public discourse. These gatherings created space for people who might not otherwise meet to sit at the same table, to listen and to share.
Ladysmith Salons carry that tradition forward.
We bring together an intentionally curated group of 12 women in a founder or maker’s space. We hear her story, how she got here, what nearly stopped her, and what she’s learned along the way. No panel, no pitching, and no hierarchy at this kitchen table; the focus is shared experience, open exchange, and women supporting women.
How Can I Attend?
Each salon is a small, carefully curated gathering. We bring together women from different industries, backgrounds, and life stages, not because of titles or hierarchy, but because diverse voices make the conversation richer. The circle stays intentionally small so everyone can be part of the exchange.
The easiest way to be considered for a future salon is to join our private LinkedIn Group. It’s our gathering place outside the room, a way for us to keep track of everyone’s info and areas of expertise, but also a space to say hello, share what you’re working on, and connect with others. If you haven’t joined yet, we’d love to welcome you there.
Can I Still Get the Takeaways If I Don’t Attend?
Absolutely. After each salon, we’ll share a recap here on Substack, highlighting the founder’s journey, nuggets of wisdom, ah-ha moments, and pro-tips, so the conversation extends to the whole community.
